Joint protocol for unified implementation and operation of the “Justice” sector.
The Center for Legal Research and Analysis (CLRA) together with the Institute for Human Rights (IHR) within the project “Joint Commitment for Better Achievements in the Judiciary” funded by the EU and co-financed by the British Embassy Skopje, prepared a document “Joint Protocol for unified implementation and operation in the sector – Justice.”
In this document, experts and practitioners in the field of justice analyzed the status of judicial officers in the Republic of North Macedonia, their jobs, salary and professional training, then a comparative legal review of the Law on Judicial Service was developed (about the law for employees in the public sector, the law on administrative officers, the law on budgets, the law on the ombudsman and the law on the Assembly of the RNM), the role and significance of the judicial service in realizing the rights of citizens, the problems and shortcomings in the work of the judicial service from the aspect of efficiency, effectiveness and realization of the principle of access to court (e-judiciary). As the last title of the content, a comparative review of the status of judicial administration in the member states of the European Union has been prepared.
The purpose of the document is to clarify the current situation of employees in the judicial administration and to emphasize the importance of its functioning with the efficiency, transparency and accountability of the operation of the judiciary as a whole.
