Promotion of the curriculum for legal argumentation, reasoning and structure of the judgments.
The Center for Legal Research and Analysis, as part of the project “Improving the quality of justice in Macedonia” funded by the British Embassy in Skopje, prepared a curriculum for legal argumentation, reasoning and structure of the judgments for the needs of basic and advanced training in the Academy for judges and public prosecutors. The curriculum was prepared by prof. Dr. Goce Naumovski, МА Velimir Delovski, and judge Mirjana Lazarova Trajkovska.
The purpose of the curriculum and the training itself is to raise the awareness of the participants (mostly judges and their expert associates) on the importance of properly structuring and reasoning of domestic judgments on the proper implementation of the ECtHR court practice, as well as for the effective protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens at the national level.
The presentation of the curriculum was held on April 25, 2018 at the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors. At the promotion, Nikola Jovanovski from the Center for Legal Research and Analysis, Aneta Arnaudovska, Director of the Academy of Judges and Public Prosecutors “Pavel Satev” and Mirjana Lazarova Trajkovska, former judge of the European Court of Human Rights, spoke more specifically about the legal argumentation, the structure and reasoning of the judgments.
