The Center for Legal Research and Analysis, in cooperation with the Judicial Council of the RNM and the Ministry of Justice, started the implementation of the project “Establishment of Analytical Tools for Monitoring Reforms to Support the Judicial Sector in the RNM.”
The implementation of the project will include three components:
- Preparation of Functional Analysis of Basic Courts in North Macedonia,
- Preparation of the Functional Analysis of the Ministry of Justice, and
- Implementation of the second measurement from the Matrix of indicators for judicial reforms.
The project will enable the monitoring of the progress of reforms in the judicial sector, the detection of shortcomings obtained from the performed analyses and will enable proposals to improve the overall situation in the judiciary. The preparation of the functional analyses will contribute to the support of judicial institutions in promoting the independence, transparency, accountability and efficiency of justice, and represents the completion of the process of preparation of functional analyses for all judicial institutions in North Macedonia.,
The time frame for the implementation of the project is from December 21st 2020 to March 31st 2021, and it is supported by the British Embassy in Skopje.
