The analysis “Openness of the judiciary in the Republic of North Macedonia” is a product prepared within the project “Increasing transparency, legal certainty and efficiency in North Macedonia” financed by the British Embassy in Skopje.
The functioning of the justice sector is significant for every state, that is, for every citizen individually. This analysis is based on the assumption that openness and transparency contribute to suppressing corruption in the judiciary and the state, improving the daily life of citizens, and increasing trust in institutions, that is, in the judiciary. The question that arises on this occasion is how to improve the performance and overall functioning of the justice system. The document provides an overview of two interrelated concepts: openness and transparency.
