Within the framework of the project “Project for Good Environmental Management”, the Center for Legal Research and Analysis prepared the “Comparative Analysis of Strategies for Dealing with Environmental Crime”. The main purpose of this comparative analysis is to give:
- Overview of the mechanisms for effective prevention and protection of crime in the environment, as well as crimes covered by the detected mechanisms in the RSM and EU member states and the region;
- Overview of the international practice of the European Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Justice and the right to a healthy environment.
