ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE CURRICULUM FOR THE TRAINING OF JUDGES AND PUBLIC PROSECUTORS

Within the framework of the “Project for Good Environmental Management”, the Center for Legal Research and Analysis in cooperation with the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors prepared a Curriculum for Environmental Justice for the training of judges and public prosecutors.

How the goals of the training are set:

  1. Introduction and familiarization with international environmental law,
  2. Linking the concept of human rights and the environment,
  3. Acquaintance with the basic legal principles of environmental law,
  4. Acquaintance with the legal regulation for climate action,
  5. The right of access to information, public participation in decision-making and access to justice on issues related to the environment,
  6. Understanding the special areas and media of the environment that are subject to regulation in special environmental regulations.
