Environmental crime and environmental issues are particularly important for North Macedonia, as a developing country where the main challenges in this area are identified in air pollution, waste management, water quality, nature protection and industrial pollution and risk management. . For this purpose, the Center for Legal Research and Analysis within the project “Good Management of the Environment” financed by the Government of the United Kingdom, with the support of the British Embassy in Skopje, developed an analysis of gender aspects for the prevention of environmental crime.
