The Center for Legal Research and Analysis organized a round table with representatives from the civil sector, media, and academic communities for the presentation and discussion of the draft Matrix for measuring the performance of the judiciary.
The event was held on April 13, 2017, within the program “Improving the Quality of Justice in Macedonia”, financed by the British Embassy in Skopje.
The round table was attended by representatives from civil society organizations working in the field of justice, journalists from the media reporting on the judiciary in Macedonia, as well as professors – representatives from the academic community. The team that prepared the draft matrix presented the legal areas covered by the matrix, the target groups, and the indicators themselves that will be an indicator of the situation in the judiciary.
Furthermore, the methodology that will be used in the implementation of the Matrix was presented, and it refers to the media, the civil sector, and the academic community.
The guests present gave comments and observations about the indicators from the Matrix and shared their experiences from the previous cooperation with the judicial and justice authorities.
