The Council for Open Judiciary held its third session today in the Supreme Court of the Republic of North Macedonia.
At the session, members of the Secretariat of the Council for Open Judiciary were appointed and the new dynamics for the implementation of the Action Plan for the European Judiciary 2021-2023 were discussed.
At the beginning of the session, the changes in the European Union’s assessment of the Council’s work and its commitment to improving the transparency of the judiciary were welcomed.
President Besa Ademi believes that the assessment of the European Commission is especially encouraging for the work of the Council and represents an additional motive for achieving its goals.
Zharko Hadzi Zafirov from the Center for Legal Research and Analysis, as the co-president of the Council, spoke about research and the results of the Action Plan and about the activities of the Council that should be done in the next period.
In that direction, the session will exchange opinions and proposals for more plans of the Action Plan in the context of the content of the dynamics and territory of the Action Plan for Open Government Partnership.
