28 January is EU Data Protection Day. The date marks the anniversary of the Council of Europe’s Convention on the protection of personal information, the first legally binding international law in the field of data protection, and is celebrated every year by the member countries of the Council of Europe as well as the EU institutions.
To mark the occasion, the Personal Data Protection Agency, the European Union Delegation, the Macedonian Young Lawyers Association and the Center for Legal Research and Analysis, are organizing an event titled “Empowering Judiciary and Safeguarding Youth in the Digital Age”.
