Working meeting of the Supreme Court and the four courts of appeals for the harmonization of judicial practice

During the period between March 22 and 24, a working meeting was held, attended  by judges and representatives from the Supreme Court of the Republic of North Macedonia and judges and representatives from the four appeal courts in the country .

The president of the Supreme Court of the Republic of North Macedonia, Besa Ademi, in his opening address emphasized the importance of the working meeting, stressing that the continuity of the meetings gives an exceptional contribution to the harmonization of judicial practice.

Within the meeting framework, the legal issues from the criminal and the civil area were presented and discussed, for which it is necessary to synchronize the views in order to harmonize the application of the law by the courts in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The working meeting organized by the Center for Legal Research and Analysis, in cooperation with the Academy of Judges and Public Prosecutors, concluded with the adoption of conclusions that resulted from the fruitful discussion and the presented opinions by the judges of the Supreme Court and the Courts of Appeal.
