The functional analysis of the Supreme Court of the Republic of North Macedonia is the first report of its kind that provides a detailed overview of the work of the highest court in the country.
The purpose of this Functional Analysis is to present the current state of affairs of the Supreme Court and to make recommendations for its improvement. Functional analysis enables an assessment of the Supreme Court’s performance in five key areas: independence and impartiality, efficiency, transparency and accountability, and the quality of judicial justice.
Functional analysis and the Supreme Court Improvement Plan are some of the key products within the project “Increased efficiency in the delivery of justice by improving the performance of institutions in the judiciary” implemented by the Center for Legal Research and Analysis (CLRA) and PwC Macedonia , and funded by the UK Government’s Good Governance Fund.
