The functional analysis of the appellate courts in the Republic of North Macedonia is the first report of its kind that provides a detailed account of the work of the appellate courts in the Republic of North Macedonia.
The purpose of this Functional Analysis is to present the current situation in the operation of the appellate courts and to give recommendations for their improvement.
The consistent implementation of the recommendations contained in this analysis will lead to a significant improvement in the performance of the four appeal courts, and thus to an improved delivery of justice in the Republic of North Macedonia.
The functional analysis and the Plan for the improvement of the Supreme Court are one of the key products within the project “Increased effectiveness in the delivery of justice by improving the performance of institutions in the judiciary” implemented by the Center for Legal Research and Analysis (CLRA) and PwC Macedonia, and funded by the UK Government’s Good Governance Fund.
