About the Project

From October 1, 2021, the Center for Legal Research and Analysis started with the implementation of the project ,,Supporting the quality and accountability in the Macedonian Justice sector”. The project will be implemented through three key components:

– Preparation and implementation of a mentorship program for judges from the basic, appellate and Supreme Court of Republic of North Macedonia, based on comparative experiences from Dutch legislation;

– Support to the Judicial Council in the implementation of the Methodology for determining the complexity of cases and the Methodology for evaluation of judges; and

– Analysis of domestic and judgments of the European Court of Human Rights through the prism of legal reasoning.
