Continuous and sustainable use of Performance Monitoring Tool (PMT) in the Prosecutorial system in North Macedonia

About the Project

This project is a result of the continuous and unwavering support that the United Kingdom provides for improving and strengthening the justice system in the Republic of North Macedonia.

Addressing the formidable challenges that are confronting the public prosecution institutions in North Macedonia, this project is a beacon of resilience and progression.

Stemming from the previously implemented project ,,Developing and embedding Performance Monitoring Tool (PMT) in the Prosecutorial system in North Macedonia” its overarching aim is to meticulously track performances and endorse practices that underpin evidence-centric reform strategies. The ultimate goal is to usher in a more efficacious and streamlined approach to dispensing justice to citizens, thereby bolstering public trust in these pivotal institutions.

By collecting data using the already developed Performance Monitoring Tool this project embarks on a journey of objective scrutiny into the operations of public prosecutions.

By adopting a standardized methodology for data collection and analysis, it aspires to gauge the efficacy of the prosecution system, pinpoint its exigencies and shortcomings, and serve as a catalyst for formulating evidence-driven reform initiatives, meticulously aligned with globally recognized benchmarks.
